Mehdi Aminian is a musician, composer, multi-disciplinary scholar, and filmmaker. Born in Iran, he has been traveling the world since the age of 16; at present, he is based in Vienna, Austria. For him, music is a shortcut to understanding, and he has an intuitive awareness of our connection, as humans. Many of his projects are based on the idea of common roots and investigate ways to explore them in dialogue : “Roots Revival Series”; “Quieter than Silence”, “Timbres of Middle East-Europe”, “Woven Sounds”.
Syham is a hypnotherapist, an aromatherapist and an urban shaman, based in Morocco and working internationally. Her favourite experimental space is the Sahara, where she works in collaboration with local communities in some of the most remote locations. We are engaging in an exciting dialogue about hypnosis as an efficient tool to access the subconscious for healing or personal growth; about the marvel of the desert and its blue men; about tapping into ancient practices for contemporary use.
